St. Patrick's Day

OK. So no one is wearing green, and there's not much Irish in the Saggurti family tree. That hasn't prevented us from celebrating in the past, has it? No it hasn't because it happens to be Lakshmi's dad's birthday. :-)

The kids were excited all day in anticipation of the impending festivities. Their aunt brought juicy perfect brownies and their gramma cooked up a flavoricious pulao. A good time was had by all as these pictures will testify.

Birthday pics...

Medha and Pavan recently celebrated their 3rd birthday. And a few more big events. The first picture on the left is from their birthday when Medha wore her fairy princess outfit that her Pedamma gave her. Pavan dressed up like his hero Alphonso (who helps clean up our home).

They also got their new toddler beds. And they're enjoying them a lot. The first few days they kept rolling off the beds, but now they've learnt how to sleep on the bed without rolling off. Not to worry, we put thick sleeping bags next to their beds to soften the impact of rolling off. :-)
The other big thing is that they're going through potty training. Medha got through it before her third birthday, and Pavan did it shortly after. Here he is trying out his "Royal Potty". Seriously, that is the name of the product!

We're back, baby!

I know, I know. I have delinquent in posting pictures recently. I have an excuse. It may not be a good one, or one that I remember right now, but I have an excuse. So there!
Anyway, here are some pictures from the New Year. Enjoy...

The one on the left is of Medha in a Han-Bok, a traditional Korean dress that I picked up when I trekked out to Seoul last November.

Here are a few pictures of the fam from the christmas break.

Medha and Pavan absolutely loved their cousins' visit. I think it didnt hurt that they were showered with gifts and attention. :-)

Puzzling!

Ok. Just bear with me. This is Pavan and Medha in front of a puzzle. It's a 30 piece jig-saw which Pavan put together in around 15 minutes. I didn't think he'd be able to do it, but he seemed interested so I left him alone and went aside. I was doing something else and checked back in 5 mins and he was putting it together. And lo and behold 10 mins later, he was done! So I got him and Medha together for a picture. And what was Medha doing during this time? She was running up and down the house and jumping off the sofa. :-)
Who made this mess of pillows...?!
There's somebody there...
I think I see them...
They're they are! The culprits....!!
More blueberries...
Got blueberries?
Getting ready for the great cold winter coming up. Lost in Naana's winter jackets...
Switching the anoraks around...Still lost...
Jagadekaveerudu and Atilokasundari...Medha was a Fairy Princess and Pavan a Gladiator for Halloween. He really wanted to be a Prince (because Medha was a Princess), so we all agreed he was a Warrior Prince.
