Deepalu, Nipa, Ruhi and Sahil came by a day early to celebrate my Dad's birthday. They brought a deelishus cake from Bijon. Scrumptious it was.

They completed Four Months already!

Yes people, the tykes completed four months on Sunday June 20th. Today, they went to see the pediatrician and get their immunization shots. Prior to that, they went through the customary weights and measurements gig. For those of you who are as eager as we were to learn of their progress, here are the vital stats:

Medha's Weight: 15 lbs, 8oz => 90th percentile (last time 75th percentile)
Medha's Height: 90th percentile (last time 50th percentile)
Medha's Head Circumference: 75th percentile (last time 25th percentile)

Pavan's Weight: 17 lbs, 4oz => 90th percentile (last time 75th percentile)
Pavan's Height: 90th percentile (last time 50th percentile)
Pavan's Head Circumference: 75th percentile (last time 25th percentile)

They got their shots and started wailing with tears streaming and everything. However, they quickly subsided and went to sleep. Once we got home, they got up and were moaning a lot. That's when we preemptively hit them with children's tylenol. That calmed them down a bit. I'll put up some pictures of the chaps later today or tomorrow.

My brother, Vijaya, Jyothamma, anita and vinita all visited. Here's a group shot with the kids and my parents who came a couple days ahead. Medha is sleeping in Lakshmi's arms and Pavan is enjoying his pedamma's company.
